Dr. Kevin Zorn is a world-renowned urologist and surgeon-scientist specializing in robotic and minimally invasive treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). He previously served as an Associate Professor of Urology at the University of Montreal (CHUM) and the University of Chicago. In 2023, he founded BPHCanada, a comprehensive, private prostate care center offering all Health Canada-approved BPH therapies. He also co-founded the ProCARE Program, a multidisciplinary initiative designed to optimize recovery and holistic care for men with enlarged prostates.
Dr. Zorn earned his medical degree and completed his urology residency at McGill University, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2005. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in oncology and endourology at the University of Chicago.
Throughout his career, Dr. Zorn has been a pioneer in adopting and teaching new technologies. He was the first in Canada and Québec to introduce several advanced BPH treatments, including Greenlight XPS, Rezum, iTind, OptilumeBPH, Aquablation, and Zenflow. He also introduced innovative diagnostic tools such as Clarius and ButterflyIQ point-of-care ultrasound and AMBU disposable cystoscopes. He is one of the first globally to be designated as a Center of Excellence for Rezum, Greenlight, and the vapor incision technique (VIT).
Dr. Zorn has authored over 450 peer-reviewed publications and 12 book chapters, and served as senior author of the 2018 and 2022 Canadian Urological Association BPH Guidelines, also advising the American Urological Association. An internationally sought-after speaker and surgical trainer, he has taught and proctored procedures across the globe.
In 2023, he transitioned from academic medicine to focus fully on delivering advanced clinical BPH care through BPHCanada, continuing his mission to improve prostate health outcomes through innovation, education, and patient-centered care.
