    Arturo Mendoza-Valdes

    Dr. Arturo Mendoza-Valdés is a graduate from National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in Mexico City. He became a urologist at Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición Salvador Zubirán (INCMNSZ) in Mexico City, Mexico. He is Past Chief of the Urology Department at the Mexican Cancer Institute and held the positions of President of the Mexican Urological Association, President of the South Central Section of the American Urological Association as well as President and co-founder of the Mexican Urologic Oncology Association. He became Honorary Member of the European Association of Urology in 2012 and Honorary Member of the AUA in 2019, President's citation of the AUA in may 2018. Co founder and member of the steerimg committee of the WUOF. Scientific committee member of the SIU, delegate for Mexico in 2020-2022.
    His research interests and multiple publications have been in the area of urologic oncology, benign prostatic hyperplasia, and erectile dysfunction. He currently works at Hospital Medica Sur in Mexico City, Mexico.
