Rajeev Kumar is a Professor of Urology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. His principal areas of clinical work are minimally invasive urology, surgery of the adrenals and microsurgery for male infertility. His research interests focus on genetics of male infertility and magnetic resonance imaging techniques for prostate cancer. He has published over 300 articles and book chapters and delivered over 150 lectures nationally and internationally.
Dr. Kumar is the Editor of The National Medical Journal of India, edited the Indian Journal of Urology for 10 years, and serves in various editorial capacities for the Journal of Urology, International Journal of Urology and Investigative and Clinical Urology. He is the Past President of the Société Internationale d'Urologie (SIU) and the Adjunct Secretary General of the Urological Association of Asia (UAA). He is a member of the American Association of Genitourinary Surgeons (AAGUS) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
