    Dr. Deerush Kannan Sakthivel, MD, DNB (Gen Surg), DrNB (Urology), MRCS (UK), is a Uro-Oncology Fellow at the Miami Cancer Institute, Baptist Health South Florida. A board-certified urologist from India, Dr. Sakthivel has a strong academic and clinical background with over 25 publications in indexed journals, more than 30 national and international presentations, and multiple awards for his contributions to robotic surgery and urologic oncology. His current focus includes advanced minimally invasive techniques with a special interest in prostate cancer, renal tumors,bladder cancers and complex urologic reconstruction.
