Head of Uro-Oncology

Dr. Gonzalo Vitagliano is currently Head of Uro-oncology at the Deutsches Hospital in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a fellow in Urolaparsocopy and Magister in Uro-oncology.
Dr. Vitagliano has more than 50 Pubmed-indexed publications along with numerous scientific communications in local and international urologic congresses. He is well recognized both locally and regionally for his work in minimally invasive uro-oncologic surgery. He has been invited to perform surgery in Uruguay, Ecuador, Chile, and Bolivia.
He is member of the Société Internationale d’Urologie (SIU), Confedaración Americana de Urología (CAU), American Urological Association (AUA), and Endourological Society. He has also been appointed Honorary Member of the Central American & Caribbean Urological Society (AUCA) along with the Urological Society of Ecuador. He is the head PI of the Latin American Active Surveillance Group (LAASG). Recently, Dr. Vitagliano has developed the UROTRAINER, a novel model for laparoscopic and robotic surgical training.
Beyond all, Dr. Vitagliano is a loving husband and a proud father of three, with a passion for the outdoors and a strong belief in the pursuit of happiness.
