After graduating with a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece,In 2001, he completed his residency in Urology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2010). He completed his rural and army service in Greece (2002-2005).
He obtained the ESUT Fellowship in EndoUrology, after completing the two years program in Amsterdam with Professor Jean Delarosette (2011-2012).
He worked as a Consultant in the UK (2012-2015) in several places.
Since 2015,he is a Consultant Urologist in the 1st Dept of Urology of Aristotle University, since 2018 he is head of its Endourology Unit .
In 2017 he went on to a PhD Degree from Aristotle University.
He has participated as faculty in more than 100 domestic and 20 international scientific meetings. He has authored more than 60 articles in indexed urological journals,with more than 1000 citations and 4 chapters in books on Urology .
Since 2022 he is associate Professor of Urology in Aristotle University,Thessaloniki,Greece.
He teaches at the University of Thessaloniki (5th year medical students) .
