    Stavros Gravas

    Stavros Gravas is Professor of Urology at the University of Cyprus and works in the Department of Urology at the Hospital of Nicosia. He also holds the position of Professor of Urology at the University of Thessaly, Greece. His main fields of interest include medical and minimally invasive therapies for BPH, endourology, and stone management.
    Dr. Gravas is a member of the Societé Internationale d’ Urologie (SIU) Executive Board of Directors and chairman of the SIU Education Office.
    Dr. Gravas is the Chairman of the European Association of Urology (EAU) Guidelines Working Group on Non-neurogenic male LUTS/BPO and has contributed to the production of the EAU Patient Information Leaflet on Overactive Bladder, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia and Nocturia, for the reliable information of patients regarding urogenital diseases.
    He is a founding member of the Council of the Clinical Research Office of the Endourological Society (CROES) representing Europe.
    Dr. Gravas is member of the Committee on “Antibiotics & Handling and Prevention of Complications” of the ICUD International Consultation on Stone Diseases.
    Other working group memberships include the Editorial Board at Large of European Urology and European Urology Supplements, and the Editorial Board of Journal of Endourology.
