    Mr. Dayan Jacob MBBS MRCS(Eng) PGCME is a Specialist Clinical Fellow in Urology at Wye Valley NHS Trust, United Kingdom. He graduated with first-class honors from Government Medical College, Manjeri, India, and holds Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He is also completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education, reflecting his parallel interest in teaching and academic development.

    Mr. Jacob has a growing academic portfolio, having presented original research at major international conferences including the American Urological Association (AUA) and the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS). His scholarly work encompasses systematic reviews, national audits, and narrative analyses, with a focus on trainee wellbeing, urological innovation, and surgical outcomes. He has won awards for academic presentations and has led several multi-author research projects across the UK.

    His clinical training includes experience as a Urology SHO and a Urology Teaching Fellow at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where he was responsible for undergraduate curriculum delivery, theatre training, and academic coordination. He has also developed and implemented regional teaching initiatives and served as rota coordinator and clinical supervisor for physician associate students.

    Committed to quality improvement, Mr. Jacob has led full-cycle audits and contributed as a local lead to national audits such as the VESPER trial and the BAUS SNAP Penile Fracture Audit. He is an active member of BAUS and is affiliated with both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh.
