Pedro Gabriel Silva is a Portuguese medical doctor currently completing his Urology residency at Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Lisboa Central. He holds a Master’s degree in Medicine from NOVA Medical School (2020), where he graduated with a final grade of 17/20 and served as a teaching assistant in Neuroanatomy.
Since 2022, Dr. Silva has been actively involved in both clinical practice and academic teaching. He works as a guest lecturer at NOVA Medical School, contributing to several core medical and surgical courses and supervising medical students during their clinical rotations in urology. His surgical training includes a dedicated laparoscopic surgery internship in Ath, Belgium, and regular involvement in robotic surgery procedures.
Dr. Silva has participated in the organization and delivery of national and international urology congresses and training programs for general practitioners, urology trainees, and nursing staff. He has presented multiple scientific abstracts, including at the 2025 European Association of Urology Congress, and co-authored three peer-reviewed publications. He is actively engaged in clinical research projects within his department.
In addition to his academic and clinical commitments, Dr. Silva has shown a strong commitment to humanitarian efforts. He participated as a volunteer physician providing care to Ukrainian refugees in 2022 and supported social inclusion initiatives through sports-based youth programs in Lisbon.
Combining a strong academic foundation, hands-on surgical experience, and a dedication to medical education and global health, Dr. Silva is pursuing a career that bridges clinical excellence, research, and service.
