    Professor Arnulf Stenzl
    Professor Arnulf Stenzl is Director emeritus of the Department of Urology, University of Tübingen Medical School. Professor Stenzl is author or co-author on more than 860 publications and scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals, and he is member of numerous public and privately initiated steering committees and advisory boards on all kind of urologic topics. Professor Stenzl holds aeveral international patents. He has been Chairman of the Scientific Congress Office of the European Association of Urology (EAU) from 2012 -2019 and is now Secretary General of the EAU. Furthermore, he was a board member of the European Cancer Organisation and was President of the German Association of Urology (2020/2021). He is member of various national and international urological associations. He is on the editorial board of several journals.
    His major research interests are bladder and prostate cancer and reconstructive urology. He has been awarded Maximilian the Nitze Medal of the DGU, the Gustav Simon Medal of the SWDGU, the Jackson Hole Award of Excellence, the Bilroth Award of the Austrian Surgical Association. Additionally, he is an investigator for numerous clinical trials and has organised numerous national and international symposiums related to uro-oncology – in particular, prostate and bladder cancer – as well other urologic topics. In May 2017, he was granted the position of Doctor Honoris Causa because of his worldwide recognition and contribution to developments in the field of urology. He is Honorary Member of the Swedish and Mexican Urological Association, the Confederacion Americana de Urologiy (CAU), the South Western German Urological Association, the Bristol Urological Institute.
