Dr. Mélanie Aubé-Peterkin is an Assistant Professor of Urology at the McGill University Health Centre in Montréal, Canada specializing in genito-urinary reconstructive surgery, benign prostatic hyperplasia and laser prostate enucleation, and medical education. She completed her medical degree at Université Laval, her urology residency at McGill University, followed by fellowship training in Genito-urinary Reconstructive Surgery at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
As a medical educator, Dr. Aubé-Peterkin is Program Director of the McGill Urology Residency Program. She holds a Master’s degree in Health Professions Education from Maastricht University, focusing on evidence-based teaching methods and assessment strategies.
Dr. Aubé-Peterkin is an active contributor to many learned societies incluidng the Société Internationale d’Urologie is the sub-committee lead for Trauma and Reconstruction.
