At the end of this session, attendees should be able to:
Identify and differentiate ablative and non-ablative MISTs for BPH - Participants will be able to classify minimally invasive techniques based on their mechanism of action and understand their indications, benefits, and limitations.
Select appropriate MISTs based on prostate size and anatomical variations - P
articipants will be able to choose the most suitable minimally invasive treatment for patients with small (<40 cc), medium (40–80 cc), and large (>80 cc) prostates, including strategies for managing median lobe involvement.
Evaluate the impact of MISTs on sexual function and quality of life - Attendees will be able to discuss expected sexual outcomes and patient-reported benefits of different MISTs, integrating this knowledge into shared decision-making.
